Scott's Genius 710 is light enough to set the pace on climbs, yet with plenty of dialed suspension can lead the charge on the downs. Scott's HMF-carbon frame practically dances up tricky ascents and features three rear suspension modes (locked out, 100mm, and 150mm of travel) to ensure mastery of smooth singletrack, rock-strewn downhills, and every other imaginable condition. A 150mm Fox 34 Float Performance Elite fork on the front helps out, too. Plus, Shimano’s XT group provides impressive shifting and outstanding braking in all conditions. This sweet ride also sports a RockShox Reverb Stealth seatpost for uninhibited descending, and rugged 27.5-inch Syncros wheels wrapped in Schwalbe tires begging you to go fast and get loose.
Scott's TwinLoc remote suspension lockout system allows the rider to choose between full travel (150mm), Traction mode (100mm), or locked out. This ingenious lever controls both the front and rear suspension, reducing handlebar clutter and increasing convenience.
Switch between wheelsets with different rear hub configurations quickly and easily! Scott's IDS-SL dropout system works with 142 x 12mm, 135 x 12mm, and 135 x 5mm rear axle standards.
