The sun drifts lower on the horizon and you decide it's time for an attack. You stand and your Scott Foil 40 bolts forward with almost otherworldly energy. Once the wind hits you, the Foil comes into its own with its F01 aerodynamics slicing through the air with unbelievable efficiency. As you set up for the corner, you feel the impressive stiffness and responsiveness of Scott's precisely tuned carbon frame with meticulously designed geometry, while the tapered carbon fork leads the way with superb control. Then, you exit the corner and grab Shimano's contoured 105 shifters as your derailleurs tick through the gears, giving you the edge you need to spin your Shimano wheels back up to speed and towards the line.
During Scott's Integrated Molding Process (IMP), the top/head/down- tube section is produced in a single step, which ensures the lightest weight by removing all unnecessary material. The front end is then joined to the rear triangle creating a frame that's incredibly light and efficient.
